Sebronas is a small mountain village situated at an altitude ranging between 640 and 670 meters, at the base of Apopigadi Mountain in Chania. It is surrounded by dense woodlands, including chestnut, cherry, and apple trees, and is known for its rich natural environment and agricultural production. The village maintains a traditional way of life, and its people are also known for their strong connection to Cretan dance traditions.

A Hint of History
Historically, during Ottoman rule, Sebronas was inhabited by Turks.
The first Greek inhabitant is said to have been Panagiotis Michelakis, a shepherd originally from the nearby village of Lakkoi, who arrived around 1750.
The current population largely descends from settlers from surrounding areas.
