Is Psilos Volakas Beach Organized?
Psilos Volakas is a semi-organized beach with a few sunbeds and umbrellas, but it mostly retains its natural beauty. Due to its small size and rocky surroundings, it may not be ideal for families with young children, but it is great for couples and those seeking a quiet escape. Above the beach, there is also a small beach bar-taverna serving refreshments and snacks.

How to reach it?
You can easily reach Psilos Volakas:
- By Car: Drive approximately 73 km from Chania to Paleochora (about 1.5–2 hours), then follow the coastal road west towards Krios Beach—Psilos Volakas is about 1.5 km from Paleochora’s center.
- On Foot: From Paleochora, it’s a 15–20 minute walk west from Pachia Ammos Beach along the seaside path.
